It’s no secret that GenXers like to consume which is why the demographic is a "must have" for any successful advertising campaign.
Gen X Louisville was the first radio station of its kind in the country. Its debut in September 2009 was so successful, Clear Channel continues to launch similar formats across the nation.
Highlights
Gen X Radio fills a void in the Louisville market and is the only station to play artists like Eminem, Biggie, and J Lo. For those Gen Xers longing to relive their glory days, they’ve found their home. Gen X plays just 8 minutes of commercials an hour, making it a great spot for listeners and advertisers alike.
On Air
Gen X Radio plays grunge, hip hop, hair bands and everything in between. The music ranges from Pearl Jam and the Foo Fighters to Eminem and the Beastie Boys to Michael Jackson and Prince. U2, Dave Matthews Band and Red Hot Chili Peppers are listener favorites, but no artist is considered a core because of the station’s huge variety.
