This promotion was a perfect example of Clear Channel Media + Entertainment Louisville is able to tie together an event, our stations, the client and our listeners for one great package. WQMF started working on this in December and in January we had everything set and ready and kicked it off with live and recorded liners on QMF plus our web presence was wonderful!
Working with our client Willis Music we created an air guitar promotion around the Van Halen Concert. The prize was a $1400.00 Van Halen "Wolfgang" Fender guitar and two tickets to see the legendary Van Halen live at the Yum Center.
It takes a lot of moxey to get in front of a crowd and pretend to play an air guitar. Our hats off to all the contestants, and the staff at Willis Music - they're good people!
